So i have a 6P and an S7E and ive had my 6P since november. It has always gotten warm from the snapdragon 810. Normal temp would be 88- 98/100 but it seems as lately it gets very hot. Just browsing the web brings it to 98 degrees Fahrenheit and up. Its never gotten past 106-108 in usage unless its very hot outside but still, it seems it doesnt run as cool as it used to. My S7E never runs past 94 degrees Fahrenheit. It also seems like battery life is no where near what it used to be. I get about 4.5 hours SOT time. I used to get 6-7 and my S7E gets 9 hours easily in my personal use

What app are you using to track temperature? Is it the same one on both devices?
Does the device feel warm (in a specific area?) or are you just going by what the app reports?

I can't say I've noticed any temperature issues, but I have a case on my 6P so perhaps that's masking what you're seeing. Do you have a case on your device?

My question would be what apps are running that are causing the issue of the warm device... something has to cause this... my guess would be an app that is either using the processor a lot or the GPS a lot... so you have an app actively tracking where you are?

Personally, I don't... so my device does not get warm unless I'm using something like Google Maps... even when I'm using Waze and it's tracking where I'm at the device never really gets very warm... it does get a little warmer just because the screen is on while I'm driving, but never really warm.
