Just got the 6.0.1 update on my 6P in the S.F. Bay Area.
75.5 MB download - No BFD so far.

In sfbay too but no update for me so far.

I removed those links from your post since I do not trust that site. If you want the OTA images they are available directly from Google -- no other site is needed.

Even though I've been a flasher before, I saw that and after reading the instructions thought, "Meh, I'll just wait on the OTA." HAHA

Pulled the ota from droid life. Used adb to sideload. Worked perfectly took about 5 minutes.

For those of you that received the update, did any of you do a complete reset and during the set up you were prompted to download 6.0.1?
Wondering if that is a trick that may work.
Also with sim card in or out during reset?

Doubt it. You will likely get it within a week, what's the rush? At least you know it's coming, let others suss out the bugs if there are any. Even if you have to wait a week, you're still ahead of the Motorola/HTC/LG/Samsung crowd when it comes to the updates.

I just encountered am odd scenario. I'm on Verizon and checked this morning for the update. It showed up so I downloaded it. Once it finished downloading, my 6P rebooted, and when I went in to check, it still showed I was on 6.0. Any thoughts on this?

Finally got my update... downloaded over Wifi at work... installing now. I'm on Project Fi.

I just got it on my 6p about 10 mins ago downloaded and did its thing.

At home and over WiFi I just got the update for 6.0.1, only took I guess about 5 mins or less. Also shows the Android security patch level as Dec 1, 2015. I was not sure if that would be included or not as I am new to Nexus. I am on Project Fi's network
