Nexus 6P Android 7.0 Nougat Bluetooth issues

I'd go to 7.1.1.
My Subaru connects almost instantly, like it did when my 6P was runnning MM. I was able to transfer my phonebook too, fast, NP. Failed to transfer my messages, but it did read one to me, although responding failed.
So far, my 1/2 day of 7.1.1 has been better than my fist 1/2 day of 7.0...

I have been having BT connection issues since February when I purchased the Nexus 6P. Disconnects in the middle of a phone call seem to be a new problem and one with increasing frequency.

I've deleted and re-paired my car and Plantronics Savi 410; and today I wiped the cache partition. The latter is also supposed to help with battery life issues. I'll see how these steps help. However, I'm as frustrated as many others that BT issues continue to be a problem that requires frequent fixes. If the problems persist, I may have to reconsider my next phone OS. BT is too essential to be constantly fixing it.
