All amoled displays have burn-in especially if there is anything static areas on the screen, ie navi bar. It's important to just keep the screen from being static. Some examples of some shiny new S6 and S6 edge with burn in attached ;-P. These all have burn-in from the demo mode running in the store. Samsung is smart with UI tweaks. Normally there UI doesn't allow for anything static. No on screen Navi buttons for example.View attachment 209883View attachment 209884View attachment 209885
Comparing a model that has a screen on ~12 hours a day displaying the same thing over and over and over isn't exactly real world use. Yes it shows it can happen to the technology but most people aren't running demos on their phones nor are they having the screen on for a straight 12 hours every single day.
Not what i'm doing. People are worried about burn-in. AMOLED screen are susceptible to burn in regardless of manufacture. As it was pointed out to me it's because of the O in AMOLED. They are Organic. They fatigue over time. If you're worried about burn in you probably should avoid AMOLED. I've owned a GNex, S1, S2, S4 and N6. All AMOLED, and all had some type of Burn-in. The majority of the Burn-in being the status bar. You'll never notice it unless you go looking. It's the nature of the beast. I promise you. The 6p's display will have burn-in...give it time.
