Nexus 6P earbuds recommends?

I have the Shure SE215 and I absolutely love them. They are about $99 but sound great. It comes with the comply foam tips so sound isolation is probably one of the best I have used. I use them for running and no issues with sweat or calling out.

I have these, they work great. Best thing is that the cord is detachable from the actual earbuds, so if you damage the cords you can just buy a replacement.

I normally use over the hear headphones since in ears tend to hurt my ears after about 30 minutes, with the SE215's that doesnt happen.

Only downside is that they are expensive, and iv only seen them on sale for 89.

I have the Shure 535 earbuds, they are phenomenal earbuds but hard to adjust for optimal sound and if you don't get it right they don't sound any better than cheaper buds. When inserted correctly they can't be beat but I wouldn't spend that much again for earbuds.

Soundmagic e10s. They won't break the bank. They sound good, low impedance, so more than ample volume levels on the 6P. Excellent isolation using ear-tip comply's and they have a built in mic allowing you to answer a call and forward your music to the next track with the remote. That would be my recommendation, because if you lose them, you won't have a breakdown like you would with more expensive IEM's.

I recently just received my Nexus 6P and found out the my Xiaomi Piston 2's do not work with the phone at all (no sound unless holding down button as you plug in, and no button functions), which I have to admit is quite disappointing especially being that the earbuds worked with every other android phone I have owned and used. After research it seems that the Nexus doesn't play nice with these as well as a lot of others. Is there any wired earbuds with mic and controls that work completely, also which are as affordable as the Xiaomi's? I do have bluetooth headphones and earbuds but would also like a wired option. Thanks for any tips!
Soundmagic E10s

No volume control though I'm afraid.

Edit: lol I just saw the post previous to mine!

Is anyone having issues with their volume/mic controls not working on the 6P? The controller cables for my Shure SE215s and V-MODA M100s don't seem to do anything when plugged into the phone.

I am actually trying to use those exact same earbuds. When the screen of my Nexus 6P is on, they work without any problems. Play/pause, Volume control, and audio all work without issue. However when the screen is locked, audio continues to work but the play/pause and volume controls stop working completely. Does the same thing happen to you?
