Nexus 6P - Google Opinion Rewards App

Re: Google Opinion Rewards App

It is not good for hardware. You can use it for apps or videos or music or to pay Google play music subscription.

Maybe I'm just extra thick, but I've never been able to figure out how to pay for my Play Music sub with the credit. Any tips?

On my account, Google always took from my play subscription from my Google play store balance first, so long as I had enough to cover the entire month(or 3/6 months, depending on what you are buying) . If I had less than the payment amount then it would go on my credit card until my play store balance was high enough to cover the full payment.

What's that?

Assuming you were responding to my question, Google Consumer Surveys is the other side of the Google Opinion Rewards. Near as I can figure, if you have a payment method attached to your Google Account (though it might be limited to the United States), you can make a survey for as little as ten cents per completed response purchased, and you get a breakdown by sex, age bracket, household income, general geographic location, with some informative graphs and error bars. I presume that these categories come from the profile that the user manually sets when the Google Opinion Rewards app is initially launched.

These surveys go out to the Google Opinion Rewards app, and to the various websites that put a Google Survey in front of their content.

Created a single-question survey that asked the question "Is spending $10.00 to get 100 randomly-selected people to answer a survey question a worthwhile use of money?" With the answers "Yes", "No," and "I see what you did there" . Unweighted responses, "No" won the plurality with 47.5% of respondents, and "I see what you did there" came in second with 31.7%

I'd link the survey (the results come with a "Share" button that has an "Anyone With the Link" option), but these forums appear to have a rule against linking offsite.

Re: Google Opinion Rewards App

I joined Google Opinions on November 6, 2013. Since then I've earned $68.99 in rewards over the past 2 years and some change. So far this month I've been surveyed 24 times. But it does go through dry spells. I didn't get surveyed at all in December. So its really random. I find the more I'm out and about it pings me more based on my location history. I think its totally worth it. I've rented several movies and purchased a few apps with the credits I earn.

Re: Google Opinion Rewards App

wow! very interesting to see how different it seems to be across the board for everyone.

Personally, I get 1-2 surveys each day! I've never lied, of course, but I find that a lot of my surveys asked me if I visited a place I didn't visit, and I just end up clicking "none of the above" and I usually get 10 cents for it. I'd say 50% of my surveys are those, and the other 50% are legit surveys for places I've been or general marketing questions, which usually give much more than 10 cents. I haven't had to spend any money on the google play store since getting this app, that's for sure! :)

Re: Google Opinion Rewards App

My reward history, going back to 11/2013, is now at $71.25. I always answer truthfully and rarely let a survey expire.

Re: Google Opinion Rewards App

I just learned about this Google survey app a few days ago.... I'm already up to almost $3 in credit. Wahoo!

Posted via my Nokia 8210 from the inside of a Kitten.

Adding back to this thread to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. I have not had a new, paying survey in 10 days. I had a survey 6 days ago but it rewarded me with $0.00.

No issue with opening Google rewards app,, on my 6p. Actually completed a survey this morning

To those who have an issue.
I read where its just not opening for y'all
Have you tried cleaning the cache in the rewards app ?
Edit
Or has it started back working for y'all ?
