Re: Google Opinion Rewards App
Assuming you were responding to my question, Google Consumer Surveys is the other side of the Google Opinion Rewards. Near as I can figure, if you have a payment method attached to your Google Account (though it might be limited to the United States), you can make a survey for as little as ten cents per completed response purchased, and you get a breakdown by sex, age bracket, household income, general geographic location, with some informative graphs and error bars. I presume that these categories come from the profile that the user manually sets when the Google Opinion Rewards app is initially launched.
These surveys go out to the Google Opinion Rewards app, and to the various websites that put a Google Survey in front of their content.
Created a single-question survey that asked the question "Is spending $10.00 to get 100 randomly-selected people to answer a survey question a worthwhile use of money?" With the answers "Yes", "No," and "I see what you did there" . Unweighted responses, "No" won the plurality with 47.5% of respondents, and "I see what you did there" came in second with 31.7%
I'd link the survey (the results come with a "Share" button that has an "Anyone With the Link" option), but these forums appear to have a rule against linking offsite.
