I need to know which sim card to get. An AT&T compatible nano sim or an unlocked GSM compatible nano sim? Straight talk is giving me both options but i don't know which one to choose.

It's been several years since I was on ST, but AT&T compatible should work. If you choose gsm unlocked, I think it shows AT&T compatible anyway. This assumes you want the AT&T service.

Was a ST customer. Nano sim yes. GSM compatible. With the issues of LTE and ATT, I'd go with the T-Mobile GSM. It did work good.
Also remind yourself which towers are best in your most used area's.

I did this for my wife's 6P a couple of months ago. She was on Straighttalk ATT with her old phone so that's what I picked. I think I had to go on the Straighttalk web site for setup info. Anyway no problem.

Check the coverage areas in your area. ATT was solid for me, a year ago, (but I'm currently on Tmo prepaid plan.) They have done a lot of upgrading (Tmo) over the last year, and your 6p can run their 700mhz band 12. Both should be fine...
