Nexus 6P or S7E wow...

Features like what? I am curious since I have never had a Samsung device.

- Scroll screenshot to capture a long screenshot
- Automatically calling the displayed contact, call log or message by bringing the phone to your ear
- Rejecting a call by flipping your phone over
- Muting a call by placing your palm over the screen
- Waving your hand over the phone to wake the screen to check notifications
- Having your phone alert you of missed calls/messages by vibrating after you pick it up after it's been face down
- Pressing the home button 3 times to shrink the screen for one handed operation
- Fine tuning audio output with a tone test
- Smart stay to keep your phone screen on while you're looking at it

There's probably a bunch more features buried into the settings all over the place that I've forgotten or haven't discovered yet. I know most of these things can be accomplished on any phone with root and/or 3rd party apps, but the integrations is kind of nice when it's built into the phone's ROM.

i think the biggest feature on TW for me is that it does not stop whatever you are doing to answer a call when you are doing something, it is simply an overlay for you to answer or reject a call, and no other oem nor nexus will do that

Another stupid feature that's actually quite useful and creative is taking a selfie by tapping on the heart rate sensor on the back of the phone. It's much more intuitive and easier than trying to reach for the shutter button on the screen with your thumb.

In general, the TW Dialer/Contacts is better overall and more feature packed than stock. Swiping the contact to either text or call is handy. The dialer has notification controls to use whether your phone is locked or if you're in another app. I also think it's clever that the status bar pulses green while you're on a call but not in the dialer app to remind you that you still have an active call.

Seems like the phone dialer is much better on the Samsung. The rest like waving hand over phone is rather gimmicky. Does all that compensate for getting very late updates and usually only one? Do these phones really start to bog down after 6-9 months of use or has that changed with the S6?

My note 4 hasnt bogged down at all. It maybe a bit laggy, but as fast as it was when i first got it. Phones usually oen bog down due to bad kernal/roms from an update, bad updatess, not clearing the cache partition, not clearing cache and other files you dont use in the file manager, and nearly maxed out storage which makes the phones storage performance read and write abilities slower which is a very important spec that the gs6 and s7s have. NAND storage performance.
