Nexus 6P: show us your home screen set up.

Simplistic is key. One homescreen and Action launcher 3 to access all my apps and calendar. Used this similar setup on my m8

My minimalistic look. Spider is my App folder Icon. Matches the theme of Enemy.

How did you manage to change soft keys? also i like the setup ..is this a theme or alt launcher option?

It's a matter of changing 3 png files in systemui.apk with 7zip on a comp. All this stuff requires root.
There is an app called layers manager that lets you change the soft keys along with almost every aspect of the ui. I am running a custom rom and along with layers offers a tremendous amount of customization even at this early stage of the 6p's life. Shot of my settings screen. Again, root is mandatory. And yes, I am using nova prime. 😂

I'm really enjoying Arrow Launcher. Constantly updates the apps at the top of the list based on what I'm using most. Case in point - was at a conference the other day w/ a solid mobile app I was using a lot and Arrow knew to move it to the top of the list. On Sunday my Yahoo Fantasy Football app will naturally rise to the top ;-)

Super easy to navigate around, can easily get to the alphabetical app listing if needed. Since I live my life in and around my inbox and meetings I have the Widget screen as my home screen for quick and easy access to corporate email and calendar, followed by Waze widget that will always tell me best way to go when commuting to work or home. Not nearly as slick as the home screens I see here, but very useful for me.

I used to use aviate launcher before that tried to do this. I always got annoyed though when it thought I would need something that I didn't or vice versa so I haven't used it since I left the galaxy line behind a few years ago.

Never tried Aviate so I can't comment on it, but I hope/suspect this one will continue to get smarter wrt my habits over time (not simply a latest apps opened feature). That said, even if it doesn't get "smarter" I find it really easy to go to the letter on the right side of the screen to quickly get to any app I need (even those moved off screen). Literally takes an extra tap and an extra second. The benefit to me is, as I've stated before, the apps I heavily use change frequently so this seems to keep it up to date.
