Nexus 6P vs LG G4 (IMHO) Spoiler: LG G4 wins

I have both the LG G4 and Nexus 6p sitting on my desk and they have the same exact set of apps on them. I've been using the G4 for the past 7 months, and just bought the 6P for the $50 discount the other day. I did my own test of opening multiple apps and the 6P consistently opened and loaded them faster. Also, the G4 touchscreen is far less sensitive, causing me to have to retry a couple of them because it didn't register me pressing the icon.

Other thoughts on the 2 devices:
-Both cameras seem pretty equal. Seems like the Nexus camera is better and focuses faster in low light, while the G4 seems slightly better in bright light settings.
-I didn't think I'd care, but I actually do really like the fingerprint unlock on the Nexus. I think it'll be really cool to try it with AndroidPay, and I use BofA, which will support it soon.
-The double-tap to unlock is pretty bad on the G4 and doesn't always register.
-The screen seems more lively and vivid on the 6P. The auto-brightness adjusting works way better.
-I really hate the G4's notification bar. The quick settings are too big, and you have to swipe back up to then interact with the notifications. I'm not a huge fan of the double swipe on the Nexus, but it's definitely better than on the G4.

* No way to close all recent apps at one time

This is a pro, you listed it as a con. Closing all apps at once is hard on the system and Android natively does this dynamically and far more efficiently than any person will be able to.

* No built-in way to show battery percentage in the notification bar

If you're on 6.0.0 or higher it can be turned on in System UI Tuner.

Other Pros for the 6P

Better software
More secure
Better screen
Larger battery and better battery life
Better build materials
More access to software updates, quicker and longer
No carrier interference
Non Removable Back
128GB Option
Nexus Protect

Other Pros for the G4
More customization options (at the expense of compromised structure)
Can be bought from carriers for those who need that option
Manual camera options are native instead of requiring a third party camera app

Other Cons for the G4
Screen sensitivity issues
Tried to out samsung Samsung and failed.

Personally, I was glad to leave the G4. It's not a bad phone; it is really a very good one. Just not a phone for me.
