Ok so i rooted my original nexus 7 which was running android 4.3, and so i decided to install a custom kernel. well i didn't know that kernels weren't compatible with any android version (stupid, i know) and installed franco kernel 6.something and now its stuck on the glowing X animation and i cant get past that. anybody got a fix or am i just screwed?

Hi, Kyle Jackson...

No... you're not screwed. You just need to flash the Jellybean 4.3 stock boot.img. Which by happy coincidence I extracted from factory stock recently for my own requirements (I decided to go back to stock kernel, after running franco for a while).

Anyway, here it is...

Just unzip the boot.img on your PC, and fastboot flash it with...

Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img

Good luck.

Rgrds,
Ged.
