Nexus 7 2012 GPS problem

Hello everybody.

My N7 got a recent problem with the GPS. I use ParanoidAndroid 4.45 (Which is Android KitKat 4.4.4). I tried to check my location using it and it keeps waiting for a local, and not giving any response. I tried to use GPS testers, but no response either, one of them says that it has no fix. I need it mostly because of Cerberus, in case it is stolen.

Has somebody had this problem? Do you believe a factory reset will solve it?

Have you tried it outside of buildings, just to give it the best chance to receive a signal ?

Yes, I did, no luck at all.

I don't know about the reset except it can't hurt. Make sure the back cover of the N7 is pushed on tight because I think the GPS antenna is built into it and it must make good contact with pins mounted on the circuit board.
