By the way, I did my upgrade via the wonderful Nexus Root Toolkit, without bothering with SDK. Highly recommended.

Did you flash the filed individually? It's only a few more commands and should net you a successful flash of the files.

Loaded it up yesterday. I'll admit, between what needed to be done as root and what needed to be done as user, and an apparently flaky USB port that works just fine for charging and data but apparently hates debug mode, it was a somewhat frustrating experience. But it's running Lollipop, so it's all good.

I will be happy to discuss anything regarding this via PM. It is more appropriate to handle that way rather than discuss it within the thread.

But just for the record only two threads deleted in this Nexus 7 (2012) forum in the last few days were due to forum rule & guidelines violations.
