So I've been hunting around out of boredom to see if any of the local shops happen to have, or even know anything yet, about the Nexus 7 32gb. No luck at the possible places like Pacific Mall, and I've had a few rather humorous responses, so far from reps at BestBuy and Staples, where one might expect the staff to be a bit more educated about the product...
A Staples employee didn't even know what a Nexus was until he asked 3(!!) other employees. Maybe not so surprising... at another store the rep I spoke with was on the ball and said they haven't been officially released yet but should be on the day of the announcement, the 29th.
BestBuy staffer told me that the Nexus 32gb is only available in the States and isn't coming to Canada. When I asked where he heard that, his response was "well the 32gb has been out there for almost a year, you'd figure we would have it by now if so." ...wow... a year huh?
Seriously, it amazes me that some of these people have jobs considering their complete lack of knowledge in the products they're responsible for selling. Again, not all that surprising, but sad nonetheless.
So who else can't wait for the non-existant 1-year-old 32gb WTF-is-a-Nexus thingy to arrive on store shelves?! Lol.
