Why do you have both?
Which one was bought 2nd? How do they compare?
I have both simply because I wanted both. I originally bought the Nexus 7 first and then bought the iPad Mini. Both are the 32GB cellular models.
What I like on each:
Nexus 7:
I can transfer pictures and music using bluetooth
I can run flash using Firefox
I can download movies and TV shows in the MKV format and play them. Don't have to use one app on my computer to load them
Play store doesn't dictate what can be allowed in the store as long as there is nothing harmful in the app
iPad Mini:
Battery life. This thing is amazing. I can use it all day with the display on. I've gotten as much as 15 hrs usage.
App quality. I have many of the same apps on both tablets. Most of those apps are phone apps upscaled to fit the Nexus 7. Mini has those apps with actual tablet versions.
I have a huge collection of TV shows and movies purchased in iTunes that I can watch on my Mini
iTunes Match syncs play counts and dates back to my computer although it is once per day.
Mini has stereo speakers and I don't need to use a hearing aid to listen to music through them.
App store will always be safe to download apps from
Bad on Nexus 7
Battery life. I can sometime get up to three hours of screen time before having to charge the battery. Brightness on very low give me the three hours.
Speaker volume sucks. Also after using it since February, speaker sounds like it may be on the way out on high setting
Bad on Mini
Bluetooth is limited. Can't send files from any devices, not even another Mini or iPhone or even a Mac computer.
There may be a few other minor things that I can't think of right now but I do use them both but I prefer the Mini. I've said it before on this site that had I bought the Mini first, I would not have bought the Nexus 7. I am still willing to give the next Nexus 7 a chance AFTER I read this forum to read reviews from people who bought it. I won't be one to buy it until then.
