I have a Refurb Nexus 7 that I just picked up this week. It is running 5.1
I have paired and connected a Plantronics Explorer 240 with it.
The Bluetooth symbol shows and the Nexus menu shows them connected.
I am running Nokia Here Maps for my GPS and it works very well.
However I want the voice commands to come into my ear piece either with or without the speaker on the Nexus in use.
No matter what I try I cant get sound from the Plantronics.

Has anyone solved this problem?

Go to Settings>Bluetooth, select the Plantronics device, and make sure Media Audio is checked on.

I have two check boxes

Phone audio
Contact sharing

Both are checked.

I will try by unchecking both and see the result and report back.

If there isn't a Media Audio box, then the device won't play those sounds--it'll only play the sound from your phone calls.
