So I have been reading various forums about the build quality of the Nexus 7. It's a hot debate and both sides are passionate. I am personally on my second unit the first had the infamous screen lift on the left side, my second unit is perfect. Both tablets didn't have any light bleed issues or screen flicker or ghosting issues.
The thing that I find interesting in these threads is how Google is getting all the blame and Asus is barely mentioned. Asus builds the tablet not Google, I doubt Google designed the Nexus 7 beyond laying out the specs and price point. So why is Google getting the black eye? Shouldn't Asus as the manufacturer and designer get the blame?
IMOP the blame lays more with Asus not Google. I also wonder if Asus will be involved in anymore Nexus devices if all of the issues are true and million's of units are defective.
