Nexus 7: for people who are happy with the tablet, have you encountered any minor problems?

Really? Definitely not the case here. I have a small 1,500sq foot house and I don't get a strong WiFi signal unless I'm in the same room as my router. I'm using a 6th gen Airport Extreme router with 802.11ac.

Yeah never thought of wifi reception as a weak point on the n7. I do notice that it seems to not have as fast of a connection as the samsung though when looking at the connection info in settings, but seems to surf the internet (load web pages)faster than the samsung. That could be the browser making the difference I suppose?

When the tablet is at a certain angle, the touch responsiveness goes down the toilet. Literally the only problem I've had, however.

Great tablet but as others say touch sensitivity when your holding it its fine but you lay it down good luck. This only started recently for me though

I've noticed the exact same, this leads me to believe its a electronic grounding issue

What do you mean certain angle?

When the tablet is propped up at a slight incline by its case/stand, the touch responsiveness goes away completely. My friend has this problem too. It'll even happen if I'm holding it at a certain angle and try to type or something. I've never had this problem on touchscreens before.

If possible set your nexus to use 2.4ghz instead of 5ghz. 5 Ghz has less range and ability to penetrate walls.

I asked you what you meant because i didn't even think something like that was possible. That's just plain odd! I luckily haven't noticed this in mine.

I spoke too soon! Just had my first random reboot this morning. While using the camera to take a picture of my son it just froze, them the device rebooted. Now I don't feel so left out.:)

that is exactly what happened to me. i was taking a picture, too. i am not sure if it is the tablet or some apps internal conflict.

and i agree with jerrykur, it might be related to the camera app itself. i used the tablet in the safe mode for about half of the day, nothing happened. and i haven't had any reboot since i last posted this.

Yes. I have had multiple random reboots. This is my first android device and I like it, but do not like the random reboots. I do not know if it is worth trying to exchange it for a new tablet or sending it in for service.

oh, yes, you should return it if you can. i had the same problem, i contacted asus for tech support, they asked me to send it back for repair. so it seems that they know it is hardware problem. i have had random reboot and random shutdowns. eventually they replaced the motherboard! so your problem might be the same thing.
