The nexus 7 doesn't have a rear camera...so why would you want too?... use a phone or camcorder..,

there's no 720p video recording! Even with that app it only record at 480p

really? that shouldnt be the case since 1280 x 720 = 0.9M = 720p and Nexus has a 1.3M camera chip. so it should take 720p. I maybe wrong. It might be made 480p to save bandwidth on video chats.

Just because a camera can take still images at a certain resolution doesn't mean that it can take video at that resolution. My 12mp camera records 1080p video.
