Nexus 7 kick ipad mini's ****

I am an owner of an iPad mini and a Note 2. I was really enticed by the Nexus 7. When I went to try it out, I wasn't impressed with the screen. The crispness was there but I feel the colors weren't very vivid. Does anyone share that opinion?

Also, the Nexus 7 feels too small for me. Has anyone replaced their iPad mini with the N7 and how has it worked out for you?

Was the screen brightness all the way up?

As for size - that's an issue of how you'll use the tablet, and your preference. It may be that you just prefer a ~10" tablet, and that's fine.

I use it mostly for social media, web browsing and email. I really like the way the iPad Mini feels in my hands and the weight. As an original iPad owner, the Mini design is my favorite.

I will have to try the brightness again. Maybe it was the stock wallpaper that made it look drab.

You should try to watch some HD movies. The colors and crispness of them look amazing. I am very satisfied with the screen, except the blue water in Minecraft Pocket Edition almost looks purple. All other blue in other apps looks very accurate blue.

It must have been the stores lighting. I ended up getting it tonight and the screen is stunning. Syncing up all my media now and listing my Mini on eBay
