Nexus 7 Navigation program

I now have a tethering mode on my iphone so today I tethered my Nexus 7 to the iphone, paired it by Bluetooth to my car radio then used the Navigation program and believe when I say it works great!!!! It was so clear & I could understand every word it said. When I went off the route it quickly rerouted. I am really pleased with this setup. I have the cup holder which put the Nexus 7 at the right height & angle so I am not distracted from the setup. Just thought I would share. jimjoh

Where did you get the cup holder? My mount sucks.

Hello, could you comment on the apps you use? is the Nexus rooted does it matters if it is or not, did you connected via BT or WIFI both? Thanks

I tethered my Nexus 7 to the iphone

He clearly states he tethered it, meaning he used his phone as a WiFi hotspot.

Tethering isn't wifi only. Tethering can be done via bluetooth or USB also (not sure about tethering the N7 with usb, but I've tethered my laptop via USB many times).
