Nexus 7 not showing up on Play Web Store "Owned" Devices?

I got my Nexus 7 yesterday, loving it so far.

It refuses to appear in the Play Web Store though. I see my Galaxy Nexus and my Galaxy Tab 10.1, but the Nexus 7 is not there. I'm signed in, and have begun downloading apps through the Nexus 7 Play Store App, but it would naturally be much easier to manage through Web Store.

Anyone else running across this issue? Tried removing and re-installing my Google Account on the Nexus 7, signing out and back in on my computer, etc. Still no Nexus 7 (and it's been several hours, so it's not that I didn't wait long enough either).

Thanks!

That's odd, it's showing on mine. Along with my Galaxy Nexus and my Droid2 R2D2.

They are all "Unnamed Device", not sure how to name them... since last time I tried it failed.

It takes an hour or so. At least it did for me.

Been several hours for me now, see timeline below:

6/17/12 --- 7:00 PM EST ---- Nexus 7 turned on, account linked, Play Store accessed, searched for some apps I previously purchased and downloaded them manually

6/18/12 -- 10:00 AM EST ---- Nexus 7 still does not show on Google Play Store devices, only Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Tab 10.1

Have you opened Play store from the device and downloaded an app , yet. That may make it take notice of the device.

Yes, I did. I downloaded all my apps through the Nexus 7 Play Store. I even purchased Paperland Wallpaper through the Nexus 7 just now, and the Nexus 7 is still not showing up on the Play Web Store.

I emailed Google Play Help, but that'll take days before I get any kind of response.

This isn't a deal-breaker as I can live without it for now and at some point it'll have to be fixed by Google or someone, but phenomenally annoying since I can't figure out how to fix it.

Did your device ever show up or did you find a solution for this? Mine doesn't show up either and I've been using the Play store for a couple of days now.

No, it still hasn't shown up. Been a week now :(

A Google Play representative e-mailed me back with a canned response. I responded back with pretty much exactly what I've posted on this thread, and have yet to receive a response.

Google has fixed issues for me in the past without immediately sending me replies (usually I'll get a reply after the fix saying "we just looked into this and everything seems fine now" lol), so I'm not too worried. Just trying to wait it out till they fix whatever bug it is on their end.

It's still a bit tedious, but once again, not a deal-breaker.

If you happen to figure out how to fix it though on our end, please post.

Well, I can't say "figured out" but I just rooted my Nexus which returned it to a fresh image. I just re-setup my device and now it's listed in my account with a registration date of today.

Got mine Saturday. Still waiting for it to show up in the play store

Finally got around to rooting the Nexus 7. Lo and behold, it showed up on the Play Store.

Moral of the story? Google wants you to unlock your devices :)

Now if I could only figure out why none of my devices show up on the Google Dashboard...

Is rooting the only way to give it access? I've had my N7 for a week now and it still hasn't shown up in my owned devices in the Play store.

Mine is fine unrooted and shows up in the store on the web. :)
