What is the thought on live wallpapers and battery use? When I use them on my Droid X the battery drains. Now I want to use some on my new N7. Thanks!

Some will drain your batteries, just have to do a trial and error, but I wanted to put a warning out there, there were a couple that I downloaded and they brought up spam in my notifications so I uninstalled them, there were only a couple of them and since uninstalling they seemed to have stopped.....we shall see.

Can be hit or miss. I have found some poorly designed LWPs that crush battery life... and I have found some that do an outstanding job with very little impact on battery life and use of the device (no lag).
Developer Kittehface makes some great LWPs (free and paid) -- they have a real nice quality look and 'feel' with minimal battery impact.

Blue Skies (shown on phone) -- works fine on tablets.

Asteroid Belt looks great on my tablets. (nice attention to detail: the planets in their orbits are not static... they slowly progress along the shown orbital paths)
