Nexus 7 screen

Hi all,
Nexus 7 is my first tablet so I hva question, do I need to get screen protector for it, or this device have one of those awsome screens tha can't be scratched, like phones? I do not drop devices, so question is about general usage (nails and stuff)...

I don't have a screen protector on mine and still no scratches after a few months of use.

I would say probably not. I don't like screen protectors because they make it harder to slide my finger across the screen and smudges collect easier. I don't have one scratch on my screen. My n7 even slid across carpet and didn't collect one scratch.

I managed to get a very fine scratch in the middle of my screen in the first two weeks.... Haven't decided on a screen protector yet..

No screen protector, but I have the MoKo slim fit cover that closes securely over it when not in use.

When I placed the order for the case added a screen protector and never installed it, running bare since July a so far scratch free.
