Nexus 7 slowdown with multiple profiles?

Updated to Jelly Bean 4.2

Everything went smoothly for the most part. A few apps are broken but fixes will come...

Added a profile for the wife, and this really seems to have slowed my Nexus 7 down. Apps take longer to load, and in general everything just feels less responsive.

Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Yep,I was going to post the same thing myself. I guess because the other profile is sitting in RAM even when not doing much.

In the end I deleted the profiles I had set up for my kids. Sounds good but not quite worth it at the moment. Perhaps with a newer device, or another update our will be better.

I definitely noticed the same thing. I don't think that it is THAT slow but I do notice a slight difference. I guess this is the only drawback with multiple profiles.

The Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 both have 2gb of ram. I am guessing going forward this will become standard to features like this will run smoothly.

I haven't had a problem with the multiple profiles.

Both profiles run just as fast as a single profile .

We don't have a thousand apps installed yet but seems to be working fine thus far.

Note: new nexus7 with 4.2 installed.

Once I'm on my profile, I don't noticed any slowdown vs. Not having profiles.

Where it is slow for me is when switching profiles. It usually takes 4-5 seconds after a press the profile circle to bring up the wallpaper and the slide to unlock.

I also think the profile buttons at the bottom of the lock screen are too small and too close together.

Yes, definitely slower and more sluggish when there are multiple profiles. I was really looking fwd to this feature to share the tablet with my wife, but its making the tablet very frustrating to use. I hope they fix this issue soon.

Yes. There's only one solution: factory reset. After updating to 4.2 and then adding multiple accounts my N7 started lagging. Nothing fixed it until I did a factory reset and it's been fine since (was recommended by another N7 owner).
