Nexus 7 tablet has poor build quality.

This device suffers from backlight bleed, screen lift, horizontal line artifacts, and other issues.

OK so I think I'm done with this device. I've gone through 10 now and I really think Google owes me and others for having to exercise quality control for them. I have gone through 10 of these devices and I can say that all of them had the problems mentioned above.

I can definitely say without a doubt that this device is simply of very poor build quality even though the specs, jelly bean os, and performance is great.

The problem might be in your head!

I've owned one N7 and it's perfect, even after I dropped it on hard tile flooring TWICE! The only issue is a software bug where my homescreen won't work properly and all widgets are 'frozen'. I can reboot to solve this problem, but I don't wanna reboot. :(

I bought an N7 for my Mom and her seems fine as well. So either you got bad luck, or you noticed one flaw one time and flipped out.

I'm sorry dude but I call BS. There is no way you went through 10 devices and all of them had problems.

Maybe you should just keep buying them. You obviously have the worst luck on the planet and maybe you could just buy up all the defective devices.

That way when mine finally is available it will be perfect!

sometimes it's not the device that's defective but the users. I call BS on the OP.

BTW I'm so happy with the build quality of my Nexus Seven that I will not only recommend it to anyone that's interested but I'm going to buy a few to give them as gifts for the holidays.

Ten is a nice round number.

Exactly. ....and one of the things that made it suspicious to me. Would have been more believable if he'd said nine or eleven.

wow.....On 8/1 you said had gone through 4 units..on 8/5 that number had gone up to 6 units.....the very next day, on 8/6, the number had increased to 10 units!!!!!! Everyone can draw their own conclusions!!!!!

This. So much this. I wonder if Apple's paying him or if he's just a lone wolf. Or should I say sheep.

I second that! I have had no problems with mine and love it. My thanks for finding the defective ones and getting them out of the system.

When life deals you lemons, make lemonade.

My N7 has no build quality issues. My only gripe is the screen is lacking contrast when compared to my GN which is expected. For $200-$249 it is a deal!

I haven't had any of those issues with my N7 thank God....I love this tablet , and while I also have an iPad 3rd gen, I find myself using the N7 more, because of the form factor, and the weight. If there is one thing I am not to happy about with the N7, id have to say the lack of volume is a little low for my liking.

First off why would I lie. Secondly, yes I got 10. First one the screen was lifting off...but yes not going through all the issues of each one. I never owned an iPad or iPhone, don't have apple products. Here, this was my latest batch of four, all defective...

Ya I dont believe you went thru 10 Warranty replacements. It sounds like we got a iSheep that lost it way.......Nexus 7 is not to be confused with the iTampon 2 (iPad):D

I bought it at a retail store lol you really think I'm going to mail back 10. All 10 were bought at stores, not from Google store.

Thing is only reason I went through the trouble is because i Iove the device....minus the defects.

What so you have four now...that they are back in stock...

And all bad and you keep going back for more?

Who would do that, your more stupid then you sound!

The one I kept I thought it was good but it does have screen flickering when the WiFi signal gets weak.

I, for one would like to apologize for insinuating that you were a liar. You must truly have incredibly bad luck. Like cosmically bad luck. The chances of getting 10 bad units are mind-blowing low. I've bought two and neither have any issues.

Like some others, I would like to thank you for your sacrifice of taking all the bad ones and leaving the good ones for us.

Dude, you're digging your hole deeper and deeper. The only thing more preposterous than you getting ten defective units is your new claim that you kept at least four of the defective ones! And that picture is so clearly photoshopped. ...
