There is another thread about this issue -- one of the problems seems to be that the battery connector has worked loose. People opened the back and reseated the battery connector and the problem cleared up.

Did you charge it when it wouldn't work?

I tried that but a few minutes later, i felt it burning more. The charger doesn't show a green signal when it is charging so i dont know if it is the char
ger or the tablet

Did you remove the back and check the battery connection as others have suggested? That fixes this issue in a lot of cases. It is very easy to do, and there are youtube videos.

Does it keep going to Google then not working or when it does come on System UI keeps crashing and you cannot do anything

hi i don't no were to post this but i have a mid android tablet its a chinese not sure what model or anything like that i no its a 4 gig sd card that's in it its my sisters and she cant remember her g-mail password or e-mail linked with the tablet,the tablet says too many pattern attempts it wont connect via usb to my pc o and its a 7 inch pink mid tablet can you please help me thanks my e-mail address id [email address removed by moderator]

i got my nexus tablet and it won't turn on i've tried everything,i hold the power buttons for 30 second or even more, and the volume down and nothing work,i even see if the battery was unplug and it was fine and yet still it won't charge or turn on. "someone please help me"!!!!

Ive been getting on this website and trying to find a solution months ago when my tablet wouldnt come on. I tried the "hold the buttton for 10 seconds" and it worked the first time. But now it did it again and when I tried it it wouldnt come on. Three months ago, the 2nd time my tablet wouldnt come on, I did the 10 seconds thing and it worked for 2 seconds and went back off. It was fully charged. Now its been some months now since it wouldnt come on and I tried to reboot it and it wont come! I didnt break it, I LEFT IT ALONE FOR ABOUT 1/2 AN HOUR and when I came back it wouldnt turn on

Strangely enough I had this same problem today myself! I took the tablet out of my bag, and I distinctly remember it being charged at around 32% when I put it away.... Tried to use it about 2 hrs later and it was completely dead! Figured it had lost it's charge even though at 32% you would think that the battery wouldn't have discharged in that short of a time..... Plugged it into the charger, and still couldn't get it to respond....let it charge for about 15 minuets, then tried the 10 second power on trick, and it finally booted up! Strange thing about it was when it booted up, the battery was charged to 30%..... This seems to be a problem with many Nexus 7 tablets.

its okay. here is what you can do...

if it wont turn on, do the following.....

1.Wait about 20 mins then try again
2.charge it for like about 20 mins, while its charging, turn it on.
3. relax, and just wait, it will work.

OMG, thank you!. Mines had overheated, I had set it under a mini fan and let it cool down and then it still wasn't turning on after. I did what you said and heard a click twice. Thank you so much! I was about to freak.

Hi, now you can see my name says Linsay Tablet, well that's not a very noticeable tablet, but all of a sudden my charger broke. I used different charging materials throughout a couple of months, but they soon all broke on their own. I then started using a phone charger, it still works I think, but it will not charge my tablet. I've tried holding down the power button for awhile that wont work, I even pressed the reset button. I need help quickly, I'm going out of my mind, trying to figure out what is not working! Please help!!!

I am having the same problem.. It worked fine one day. Was not HOT, I turned it off and when i tried to turn on, it will not start. I changed it for 1.5 hours and then tried again. Still nothing. I have held the button down for a couple of seconds to 20+ seconds, still nothing. This is a hardly used tablet. Any suggestions

This didn't work for mine. I use android 4.0 tab and it couldn't wake up just using the power button. I have not other option to wake it up.

please help me! whenever im using my tablet it would lagg in a while and shuts down, i would cool it down for and hour or so. than when i onn it back it works perfectly fine ,but would happen again . the next day comes and was working perfectly fine in the morning and shutts down. And this time it whenever i try to turn it on there is only blank.. please help me ..*pouts* this kind of tablet is hug.

my own didnt work
