Nexus 7 update from Google

Fecking liars. They have effectively just bumped my pre-order back over a week.

They claim that ALL 8GB pre-oders have already shipped. And that all 16GB pre-orders will be shipped by end of Thursday..... and upgraded to overnight shipping. Does that mean that we will get by Friday at the latest, theoretically?

So 1 week AFTER the general public gets them, the pre-orders finally get delivered. Great service.

Theoretically yes. But chances are, once we receive our Nexus 7, Google will still be getting calls in complaints to the long delay and the shipping cost asking for a refund on it.

They are lying SOB's. I ordered an 8gb...no case...no extra charger....on July 4th....IT HAS NOT SHIPPED!!!!!!!

I have my email on auto refresh, and that email hasnt been sent to me yet.

I just don't understand how they think it's good business to ship to B&M to sell (not to preorders, straight retail like Staples) but not have those items sent to their own Store to fulfill preorders.... Yes, from their own store!

They should only service their own preorders first.... Crazy!!!!

In Canada and the UK, we're looking at additional week long delay on top of that, for many customers.
