Nexus 7 won't connect to Ihome bluetooth speaker

I just bought the ihome bluetooth speaker model number iBT60B. It connects just fine to my motorola RAZR that is running the android OS but my Nexus 7 won't detect it at all. Any thoughts?

I use the iHome iDM8 and my Nexus7 (2012) connects fine. Its not as mini as yours but you can find them at Walgreens.

I have the same problem....Nexus 7 2013 won't connect to my iHome iDM8 bluetooth speaker. Hope someone can provide a solution!

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Bluetooth, then tap the settings icon next to the entry for the Bluetooth Speaker. On the next screen under Profiles, make sure "Media audio" is checked.
