Yes, it's a great device. Probably the best Tablet for the price, hands down. If you want to save some money consider getting the Nexus 7 (2012) model, if you can find one. Otherwise, the newer Nexus 7 (2013) model is even better and still priced right.

I got my 2012 N7 in January and have never had a single problem with it. It is an awesome little machine. I have rooted it but still have the stock ROM on it. Looking forward to maybe running CyanogenMod on it like my One x. If you get one I am sure you will enjoy it.

If you see complaints on a forum of a device having malfunctions, keep in mind that the people who are having issues are going to be more vocal than the many others who are not. I would not say that the new Nexus 7 breaks down easily. When it was first released, there were some relatively uncommon issues with the touchscreen, but these were fixed promptly with a system update.

I purchased a Nexus 7 to replace my beloved Playbook.
This Nexus 7 tablet is amazing, the screen is amazingly vivid, the 2 Gb RAM makes this tablet run so smoothly. This tablet has become my go to tablet and am loving this Nexus 7. Absolutely no issues with my tablet.
