There's better memory resource reporting in 6.0 so perhaps it will help folks determine which apps may be running away ... I can say I routinely have issues with Chrome and Google Play Music on the N9 when using them for a long period of time or multitasking between other apps and those two. It's not something that causes me to want to use another device though.

If I were in the market for a tablet now I wouldn't buy the N9 I'd wait for the pixel C, and I plan on moving to that once it comes out since that's what I was hoping the N9 was going to become.

I have the LTE version and got the OTA update yesterday,

However, the update WILL NOT install.

Have tried 3 times and keep getting an error message.

I have a stock Nexus 9 lte no root or any custom roms or anything.

Got mine yesterday. Had to uninstall some apps to get it to download and install. Working fine so far. Don't notice much of a difference from lollipop to be honest

Yeah, Chrome is what really kills this device.

Stock early N9, 16g, WiFi only. Got it last night. Would not download until a lot of other apps were updated and was preceded by a 22mb update that seemed to do nothing. This AM after more app updates it downloaded and I could install. Seems noticeably faster and smoother, but I've only been using for a couple of hours and don't know how other apps will respond or effect on battery life. This is the first time I've had any problem with an update, but it seemed to self-correct given enough time.

It's not bad but a few problems I'm seeing, trying to set a lock screen security option crashes settings... Which means no smart lock either. I've tried factory rest and setting it in setup and it seems to set one but then doesn't work and settings crash again.. Also the priority notifications seem to have become less user friendly.

I'm still waiting for ota on my n9. Makes me rather insecure. Did Google forget about me?

The OTA update is coming through for me on my N9 WiFi. There was a 22 GB security update first, then the 772 GB update.

I've been running marshmallow for a couple days and it has made a world of difference IMO. Everything is running much better especially Chrome.

I got my OTA update a few days ago, and initially it was actually becoming unresponsive and laggy, but that was initially and now it works great. Maybe they were isolated events, but so far it's working pretty great.

Hi all-

Happy to report that I did an OTA updated for my N9. It seems far more stable and normal than it ever was while running Lollipop. I like the changes immensely though I am having trouble finding where we can turn the Settings background from "White" to "Black." I unlocked Developer's Options but I did not see any options there.

Yay Marshmallow!

My LTE 32GB got yesterday afternoon 2 quick OTA updates, last one was Android Marshmallow. Country Germany I wish my phone S4Active could get M update but it's "too old" in Samsung eyes

I like it on my N9 as well. But would like to know how "Now on tap" is working for other international users. It's not working for Swedish I can sadly report.
