Nexus horizontal view in call mode

Hello All,
I use the car dock that Verizon supplied and keep my Nexus in landscape. Everything is fine except when I'm actively in a call, it reverts to portrait mode. I've looked for app to remedy this without any luck. Does anyone know of a way to correct this without rooting?

i think car dock home v3 does that without root. not 100% sure but there are a number of car dock apps, one of them must do it.

Thanks for the quick reply to my question. I do use Carhome ultra which also goes into landscape mode during normal operation and I've tried car dock home v3. What I'm looking for is landscape mode while actually talking on a call. None of these apps seem to do that.

Are you unable to use the phone in portrait mode for the phone call? Or are you just interested in the aesthetic value?

There are dialers out there that allow rotation in-call. My stock dialer in Liquid smooth has landscape mode right in the setting panel.
