Can you move files from one hard disk to another one if you have a split OTG cable using the nexus media importer?

Does this make sense to you?

Two Hard drives, both connected to nexus 10 at the same time, can you transfer files from one to the other using Nexus Media Importer?

It makes sense, but no one has answered because they probably have not tried it. Someone is going to have to be the guinea pig.
