Nexus speaker way low any app?

i bought the GSM nexus on the play store ...im not into rooting or anything just wondering if theres an app that works to boost the sppeaker volume up ...i tried "volume+" didnt seem to do anything

According to their blog, Volume+ does not yet support Jelly Bean... they're working on it though!

Yeah its a quiet phone, wait a bit until Volume+ is supported for JB and you should be golden.

Just received my GSM Galaxy Nexus and it also has very quiet playback through the speaker. Talked to Google tech support and did a master reset..no change.

That's the Nexus ugly secret. It has lousy speakers. Phone was almost perfect. Ah well.

Try the app Equalizer in the play store, it helps boost the speaker sound very well!
