Due for upgrade anytime. I will be saving money going to the new Shared Data Plans so that is not an issue.
NOTE: I am posting here because I am leaning towards the Nexus but have concerns about memory, battery and CAMERA. Thanks to all who help advise me.
I am looking for top line, future proof and fun to use. I am on my phone all the time so battery life is an issue even with the 3 external chargers I own. My phone history after BB Bold on VZW was Droid X, X2, changed me to Droid Charge (hated Touchwiz on this and battery lasted maybe 3 hours max) and then VZW changed me to Incredible 2. Other than small screen the Inc 2 has been decent with incredible battery life. It just isn't enough for me.
I have held the Nexus and SG3 for about 2 minutes each. The SG3 although slimmer seems more fragile than the Nexus.
My big concern is without a memory card i won;t be able to store all the pictures I want to keep offline and also other items. I only have 2.5GB Dropbox and have Google Drive of course. My other concern is the camera. i use the camera all the time to various reasons, and I haven't seen much talk about the camera on the Nexus. I have heard from others the SG3 is a superior camera but I want a Nexus' owner's perspective
Any reason to NOT go with Nexus over the GS3??
Thank you to all who give advice.
