NFC on skyrocket

I see NFC as an option on my skyrocket, but can't seem to get it to work.

Phone is up to 4.0.4

Tryinng to transfer pictures from my new camera - Panasonic DMC-TS5D - LUMIX TS5: WiFi Enabled Lifestyle Tough Camera - Manuals

great camera - having issues with getting the NFC to work.

Unsure if it is the phone or the camera. I assume the phone, as it is not new, maybe the protocol has changed with the newer models.

Havent tried with other phones. Just this camera.

I have the Seidio extended battery on the phone, unsure if that is causing a problem.

Any ideas?

The NFC chip was in the stock battery.
