NFC Tags?

Anyone know of a brand of NFC tags that will work with theN4? I can find lots of comments about ones that DON'T work......

I had a few Samsung tectiles that worked. Also picked up some Andy tags on amazon that worked great

Any of the Type 1-4 NFC tags would work, this includes: Topaz, NTAG, UL, ULC, and DESFire EV1 tags.
Here are NTAG stickers that will work : NFC Sticker - NTAG203 | BUYNFCTAGS.COM.

Just don't get the Mifare Classic Tags, those won't work with the Nexus 4.

They do now. Confirmed fixed in 4.2.1. I use them everyday again.

Hey - Eric from AndyTags.com here. I have an entire page on my website that explains the Nexus 4 (and 10) NFC issue. The main thing to know is that it can read/write to any tag that adheres to the NFC Forum protocols and the most popular tags that fit that bill are NTAG203 tags.

The N4 can read the UID (like a UPC Code) from a tag so apps like ReTag Pro or AutomateIT that just use that UID to trigger a task will work with any tags even Mifare Classic - but the N4 can't read any other info off the Mifare Classic and can't write anything to it.

Anyway, the safest route is to get NTAG203 tags for the Nexus 4.
