Just a quick question, does keeping NFC on waste battery?

I got Google Wallet working and it be a pain to go to settings turn it on and off, so can I just keep it on or will that waste battery?

More importantly... how did you get Google Wallet to work?

Not sure about GW, but having NFC enabled on your device should not impact your battery performance.

I think I read it does effect battery but not sure of how much

From a quick google search, it seems that nfc is disabled when the screen is off and any drain when using the device is negligible. Just installed google wallet using the fix I linked above so guess I'll see how it goes.

Compared to what? Not having it on? I would have to assume based on logic. Although it probably wouldn't drastically drain your battery, I'm sure there will be a slight drop in battery %.
