months ago? it has only been live since august, this is only september 20th broham.....

I think people who downloaded the app early got locked into surcharge free season of redzone.....never was I asked do I wish to "purchase" anything. If so I will have any "fee" removed from my bill because they cannot charge you for something without you being aware....

I just asked a National accounts manager about this and he said that when it was first rolled out, it was free, but that the signup period for it being "free" ended months ago.

Months ago, being just that, 2 months ago. Aug 1 first started the pay to watch period per my VZW rep convo.

For those of you not able to watch for free, I was unable to but have used a work around with a modified version of the app that has been modded to work with phones on other carriers.....

1. Remove the NFL Mobile app from your phone.
2. download NFL Mobile either to your SD card or to your computer and move it to your SD card
3. using Files or Astro (or whatever file manager you prefer) open the nfl.apk from your SD card and install
4. enjoy

When somebody is getting free NFL coverage and you aren't it causes an uprising. I'd be freaking out to if I wasn't getting it free.

LOL. Sorry, but IT IS FREE FOR SOME OF US. We aren't going to be charged for VCAST without signing up. I have checked my account and there isn't VCAST anywhere on there.

Those of you who get it FREE, do you have your choice of games to watch? I can watch for free only the game that is chosen to be broadcast for me. Kinda sucks for your choice to be limited to Oakland vs. St. Louis.

The RedZone Channel that it shows, shows every game that has a team that is inside the 20 and ready to score, i.e. The RedZone. That is how it works, it shows all the games where someone is ready to score. It switches on it's own.

I get to watch the NFL Redzone Channel and then any Thursday Night games and also all the Sunday Night games.
