Nixon mission bezel replacement

You can change the Nixon mission bezel. I have taken mine off and painted it then put it back together and it's fine.
Has anyone else done this.

No I'm afraid I didn't take any when I took the bezel off but can take some of it painted tomorrow morning

That's a photo from Google of what it looks like. To me it doesn't look like the bezel is water proof. For a watch that's rated to 100meters I would expect some O ring protection if it mattered not just 4 screws and a mechanical seal
