Hm .. I wonder. Do I have another I need to do? I did the OTA and it gave me that. I tried to check for updates again and it said I am up to date. Or is it a VZW thing?

I'm not sure - some sites say V is for Verizon, some say U is for Verizon - I think I'll leave the 2nd one on U and see what happens -

On 1 Pixel I side loaded U then V - all went well
the 2nd Pixel I tried to sideload V - didn't go well at all - doing U now and may wait to see if V comes OTA.

It shows the V version for Europe.

Got it.
Thanks for the heads-up.

Anything in this release besides security patches?

Has anyone on Verizon OTA'd to U, after being on Q?

I have not, but if I could chime in for a second? There was a security vulnarabliity that was just discovered several days ago which was also to be included in this as it was pretty major, if that is what you are indeed wondering about or asking

I think that's right... one related to the camera?

Side loading U as we speak. I did it manually again since I didn't know if it would do it automatically since i had installed the European version of Q.

Anyone tried the piano app, to see if the audio distortion fix was in this update?

Where there any know fixes with this build as well as security patches?

Successfully side loaded U. Anyone have a link to what is in it, other than security patches?

Usually when an OS update or security patch releases, I go to manually check for updates and am given the 'you're on the latest' spiel.. First time ever I've gotten the update instantly on checking. Is this a change, where updates, while perhaps being pushed out on a schedule, are actually being made available to all for direct OTA on request?

Wasn't there when I checked. Had to side load it.

First time the check for updates button has ever worked for me, too. Downloading and installing now. NMF26U.
