There's no 3.5mm headphone jack like the z force droid, will this be a deal breaker for you? Personally, I haven't used 3.5mm headphones in years so it doesn't bother me, but i can see it as a downer for those that do. There is an usb c to headphone jack in the box but that seems very easy to lose, IMO.
I absolutely hate registering and creating new accounts, let alone having to give feedback to companies that should already be doing their own research, so for me to even do this shows how invested I am in this topic.
Deal breaker to the point that I would rather get a basic flip phone and move to an audio device. Things I care about in a phone by rank:
-Listening to music (headphones)
-Storage
-Ease of use on the interface
-Access to emails and maps/traffic
Regarding this topic, yes I know how Bluetooth works and I have a nice JBL box in my home for portable use around the house as needed; patio, kitchen while cooking, maybe in the bedroom while reading. So I do use that functionality. Yes the sound quality is less and I notice that. This is why I often use the headphone jack in the car rather than the Bluetooth for music.
When I use the headphone jack by rank:
-At work (up to 10 hours per day)
-Car trips (daily)
-Snowboarding (up to 6 hours per day when snowboarding plus plug in time in the car for the commute to and from the slopes)
-Gym (one hour per day)
-Travel ( I travel for work and pleasure, always use headphone jack while in the airport and on the plane)
I'm not going to add additional time (and cost) to charge an under performing headset continuously during these times. My life and time are too valuable to waste more time charging devices I never asked for in the first place.
I don't watch Star Wars or porn on my phone so not sure why we need 4k definition on phones. Really people, on phones? So give me a basic display in a small platform and I'll keep the headphone jack. Thanks.
