No 3G signal at all

I'm at work right now and I'm not getting any 3G signal, all I've got is 1X. It's pissing me off because I always have full 3G at work. I've rebooted a couple times and even shut it down completely and started it back up. Isn't there a new radio out? Anybody know what it is? I'd like to try it. My phone is currently running on KL2.

Or should I just call Sprint?

Just tried both of them and they both failed. I'll call Sprint when I get home. This problem won't matter if I'm rooted when I call them will it?

EDIT: Got them both to update but still no 3G. Looks like I'll be calling Sprint.

Or drive by your tower and see if they are working on it.

Let's face it Sprints signal strengths have just been plain horrible since the whole LTE upgrade started.. Not that they were stellar before but I noticed now that they are working my state for the last 2 months on the LTE upgrade its been very poor. I'm assuming due to powering up/down towers as they work on things.

I too have noticed a drop in signal strength, mainly just 3g though. I've only lost one call and it was in a known dead spot on the highway where you can't get a signal with any carrier so I wasn't too mad about that.

I can feel everyone's pain in here. My phone has been jumping in and out of 3G for the past few weeks now. I have called sprint and was told there was an outage. I'm in Chicago if that helps. I just think with them redoing all of the towers its hurting the signal.

I am in the chicagoland area as well, and my signal/3G/1G has been very poor lately.

You can check that information under settings>about phone>baseband
