No 4.2.2 update In US, waiting. Who is w me?

Question. Since the update is hitting over seas do you think the US carriers already have it and are working on it?
Maybe, but if that was the case wouldn't it have already been released to the DEs here in the US?

Not for sure. I'm just hoping the carriers are already working on it. Especially At&t.

Having a DE as well I personally got tired of waiting. I rooted, TWRP, S-Off, SuperCID, flashed the latest FW/Radio and then 4.2.2 stock so I am already there. Quite happily I might say.

so 4.2.2 has come to some users and their battery got worst, that is concerning, because after 5 hours of moderate use down to 35% is really terrible, considering I am a heavy user.

A lot of times phones need to be reset and that takes care of battery drains after an update

Sprint is probably getting it first in the US. They always get the updates first.

I was super excited about the update until I read how "minimal" it is. I was expecting a big update on the overall interface but apparently its not like that so...meh... whateva.

For those on AT&T....When I look for software updates there is an AT&T section and the other software update section. Do I have to check with one before the other? Or will I just be prompted when one is available. If I look at the AT&T update it won't let me check again for 18 hours or something, this is one feature of iOS that I really miss; timely updates to everyone. AT&T and their bloatware sucks.

I agree, patience. If history repeats itself like it seems to do with any major update there will be plenty of good and some bad that comes with it.

This waiting is getting pretty ridiculous. US carriers really need to pick up the pace.

Unfortunately it's not the US carriers with the hold up right now. My Dev Edition directly from HTC still hasn't received the update. HTC hasn't released it for the US region yet.

Yeah. I check once a day on my dev edition just to see if HTC released the update yet. I can't understand why it's taking so long even for unlocked phones

edit: It can't be because they wanna distribute the server load or something like that, coz otherwise they'd be fine even if they released the updates for different regions a week apart from each other.

Yeah it is odd that unlocked versions don't have it yet. Maybe HTC will let us know soon? /shrug.

It is **** poor customer service in my opinion. At least let unlocked phones have the update OTA. I am sure they will not bring their servers down since the numbers are much smaller. HTC is just not very customer friendly or customer focused. If they want market share in the States they better change their ways. I am wondering if I made a mistake moving from iphone 5 to One?????

I would assume they have released it to carriers song other carriers around the world are pushing out the update already. I fell is the carriers again holding the updates up again.
