If I want to use a pertty standard 5mm headphones, I have to have a converter? Any rumor if this device would come with a converter from its 1/4" port?

I don't know what size it is supposed to be, but the Toshiba Tablet website: Toshiba Tablet (under the "Specs" section, Ports & Expansion) states the tablet has: "USB, mini-USB, HDMI, SD slot, and a headphone jack. I doubt if it would be other than the standard size mini-jack...

The very website you link to (in the 360?) is where it states that the headphone jack is 1/4" and not a 5mm jack. I don't even know where I would go to get a 1/4" jack. I hope that there is a 5mm option of a converter that comes with this tablet.

Hmmm... The links under the 360? page are broken when I pull it up, but they only have buttons for: Screen (size), Android Quick-Keys, and the Adaptive Display. The Specs page has a list of connectors, but no size for the headphone jack. If it is a 1/4 inch jack, that's cool [big, but cool] - that is what most professional headphones use (originally called an audio jack or simply phone jack [since the mono variety was used in old patch-cord switchboards] - it is one of the 3 standard size, TRS jacks, commonly used today: the 6.35mm [1/4in], the 3.5mm miniature jack [what most portables use today], and the 2.5mm subminiature jack). If it's a 5mm jack - all bets are off - I've never seen one that size (maybe they meant 3.5mm, instead - typo?).

RadioShack used to sell a 5mm female to 3.5mm male adapter when everything switched to 3.5mm. Maybe they still have them?

I do not know of any mobile device in the last decade with a 5mm jack.
