RE: Galaxy A15. When I change a notification to a different one it reverts back to the previous one. How can I make it stay to the new one I want to use? Can someone please help? Thank you.

Is this only for a specific app, or for any app? Are you changing the notification tone to another preinstalled on, or a custom one?

It is for a particular app. Originally used my general notification app for the app notification I want to change.

Is this an app with multiple notification channels (like a messaging app, which can have custom tones for specific individual threads), or does it just have one general notification channel?

Is the tone you want to use a preinstalled one, or a custom one? If the latter, is the sound file saved to Internal Storage or an SD card?

No just one app. its preinstalled tone.

Thank you, so when you tap notifications categories you can change the tone in each sub menu and that's where it doesn't stay the tone?
