No Accelerometer Found - How Do I Fix This Problem?

I recently bought my mom an Alcatel OneTouch Pixi Eclipse to use as an mp3 player and play a few games on with no mobile service (she doesn't want that). I installed Labyrinth Lite on it and whenever she tries to play the game it keeps giving the following error: "No accelerometer found." Is this something that can be fixed easily? I don't know if the problem is with the phone or the game.

The accelerometer (whatever that is) doesn't rely on internet does it? I know she can't play Wheel of Fortune because there's no internet access as she doesn't have WiFi either. I believe I've played Labyrinth Lite on a Kindle without internet access. If it wasn't that particular game it was one very close to it.

It sounds like a hardware issue. This phone does not have an accelerometer.
