no android 14 6.0 on s20 plus

so i went to a website today and i saw everything next software update list being release and s20 phones will not receive android 14 ui 6.0 is this true or do you think they will add it just haven't right now?

ok i did read underneath the list is based on update policy and previous rollouts.
Samsung has not revealed which Galaxy devices will get Android 14.
Some unlisted devices may also receive One UI 6 update. so when it talks about some unlisted devices may also get one ui s20 phones may get it as well eh

Just like the s10 it might be the end of the line for the S20 line up

i hope not man i don't know what's going happen if my s20 plus phone dies because i know none of the current s20 series after s20 doesn't have a sd card and i still got everything on sd card like pics and stuff

According to Samsung themselves I believe all their flagship devices from the S20 going forward are receiving 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. That would mean the S20 line will get Android 14. You can check Samsung's website to verify because I'm not positive on that though

I know the S21 and up are on the 4/5 schedule.

Well, I can assure you that missing out on Android 14 won't kill your phone, so that's good news!

It is gonna die eventually though.

I have an S20 and as far as I'm concerned.....it's on its final software version (OneUI 5.1) and has 1 year of security updates left.

S23 or Xiaomi 13 in my near future.

The S20 series is not due anymore major software updates.

My S10 finished with Android 12. The S10 will end with Android 13. And so on.
