No badge app notification bubbles?

So I recently got a Samsung s8 and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to turn on the little bubbles on app icons? I'm coming from using a iPhone since the iPhone 4 so this is all new to me.the only app that has the red circle bubbles is Samsung health and nothing else.Also how do I take a screen shot,I've Googled and can't figure that out either. Halo

Take a screen shot by pressing the volume down and power buttons at the same time.

(Sorry, but I can't answer about the notification markers on the stock launcher. I've been using Nova since almost day one .)

Notification bubbles are launcher dependent. Samsung is only able to make notification bubbles for supported apps, like Facebook, Messages, etc. Not all apps get it. If you want all apps to have it, you need to use a launcher like Nova which is able to use the TeslaUnread add on to read notifications and add the bubbles.
